This is the application form for the Directed Cosplay Portrait Session by mit at Anime Expo / July 2–5.

Kindly read the terms and conditions below.
Only participants who agree to these conditions can attend the photo session.

[Application Process]

1. Select your preferred slot and submit your application through Doorkeeper.

2. Wait for a payment request email from mit. The email will be sent manually via Gmail（mitfolio@gmail.com） and will include a Stripe payment link.

3. Complete the payment by the deadline stated in the email. If payment is not completed by the deadline, your application will be automatically canceled.

4. After mit confirms your payment, you will receive a confirmation email. Your slot is officially secured only after this confirmation email is sent.

5. See you on the day of the shoot.

Please note that Doorkeeper is used only for managing applications and time slots. Payment requests and confirmation emails are handled manually by mit via Gmail, so replies and payment confirmation may take some time.

If your application name or email address is different from your payment information, confirmation may take longer. Please use the same name and email address whenever possible.

[Terms and Conditions for Commissioned Photo Sessions]

Session fee: $195

• Each session is 30 minutes. Please come to the arranged meeting spot. The location will be sent before the convention.

• Up to 2 people per group are included. For more than 2 people, there will be an additional fee of $25 per person.

• You will receive 2 fully retouched JPG files.

• You will also receive selected, color-graded JPG files.

• Full payment must be made by Stripe by the deadline after receiving the payment request email.

• Refunds are available within 48 hours after payment. After 48 hours, all payments are non-refundable.
  In the case of a refund, Stripe’s processing fee will be deducted.

• Arrivals more than 5 minutes late will be considered cancellations. No refunds will be issued.

• Commercial use of the photos is strictly prohibited unless agreed in advance. Commercial use is $80 per image.

• The commission slot cannot be transferred to another person.

• The cosplayer may bring one assistant if needed.

• Copyright of all images belongs to mit Photography. Edited images you receive will be watermarked. Removing or modifying the watermark, editing the images, or distributing images without consent is prohibited.

• All images must be properly credited when posted or shared on any social media platform.

• JPG files can be downloaded via the QR code provided at the time of the shoot, starting from the date indicated. The files will no longer be available after 30 days, so please make sure to download them within that period.

• Please take care of your personal belongings during the shoot. mit Photography is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

• Behind-the-scenes photos and videos may be recorded for social media. If you do not want to appear in BTS content, please let me know in advance.

[Why choose mit?]

My photography style may be different from a typical cosplay photoshoot.

In my personal projects, I usually direct the entire process from A to Z: casting models, creating costumes, choosing locations, and guiding poses. That full direction is what creates my photography.

For this commission, I will also photograph you through my own interpretation of your character. This means I will research your cosplay character beforehand and guide the mood, posing, composition, and overall direction during the shoot.

Because of this, my commission may not be the best fit if you already have a very specific image, pose list, or photography style that you want recreated exactly.

However, if you are interested in being photographed through my world and interpretation, I would be happy to work with you.

During the shoot, I will guide your posing. I may also adjust your wig, costume, or posture to improve the image. If you are uncomfortable with physical adjustments, please let me know in advance. I can always guide you verbally instead.
